Communion Kit for Deacon Fran

Our Parish Deacon Fran Langlois has served our parish for 12 years. She was ordained to serve the Anglican Ministry to Seniors in The County, and has been the leader of that ministry since 2017. The Churchwardens decided it was time to equip her with a new communion kit which she will use when bringing communion to shut-ins and seniors residences. The gift was presented to Fran in church on June 12th.

2023 is our “welcome back to church year” where we reach out personally to those who have been absent from church for various reasons and invite them home to St. MM.

We also stay in touch via emails, the St. MM website and Facebook page. The five-editions-a-year newsletter ‘The Vine’ is eagerly awaited by parishioners as we celebrate the life and times of our Parish. One of our parishioners faithfully sends greeting cards to let parishioners who are unwell or bereaved or who are celebrating a special birthday or anniversary that we are thinking of them. Mailboxes for every parishioner are located at the rear of the Church. Parishioners often bring others to church who are no longer able to drive, and we also offer a free taxi service if required.
