Advent & Christmas Seasons

Our service of Nine Lessons and Carols is an important tradition within the Advent season. In this service, the Christian story leading up to the birth of Jesus is told in nine short Bible readings, or lessons. These lessons are interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols, hymns and anthems. A similar service of lessons and singing takes place on the first Sunday that follows Christmas.

On Christmas Eve the Candlelit Communion Service begins a magical celebration with special music and a Christmas message.

Our Advent and Christmas services for 2025 are as follows:

Lenten & Easter Seasons

Ash Wednesday symbolizes the beginning of Lent, with a service that includes the placing of ashes on the forehead.

Holy week begins with a Palm Sunday service and continues with other ceremonies commemorating the events of Jesus' final week, including Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

Easter Sunday features a joyous and well attended service which includes a special story for the younger members of the congregation.
